Are all the datasets in 'Available' a subset of 'Data Sources'?
Correct! These are the files that have been loaded into memory (CAS).
.egp means we have imported, but here we see the extension in SAS Environment Manager as .flw. Is this expected in SAS Viya 4?

Is the 'licensed product' tab the same as 'proc setinit;run;'?
It's very similar, although it may show things as a finer level of detail than in SAS 9.

Assume the Superuser Role
In SAS Environment Manager, you become a Superuser only after you explicitly assume that role. For example, you might assume the role to troubleshoot and resolve an access issue or to manage format libraries. To assume the Superuser role:
- In the applications menu (
), select Administration
Manage Environment. In the navigation bar, select
. - In the list of servers, right-click the name of the server for which you want to assume the role, and select Assume the Superuser role.
The status message reminds you that you have assumed the role.
- After you perform the task that required the role, click Relinquish in the status bar.
Note: Use the Superuser role only when it is required

You mentioned that Viya 4 uses Kubernetes. If you use an earlier version of SAS Viya and plan on upgrading to Viya 4, will administrative tasks change a lot? What does a SAS Viya admin need to know for such an upgrade to be as smooth as possible?

Yes, you will have different URL’s for each environment’s Environment Manager. You can use the cat ~/urls.md command, and this will list the URL
How do I use SCIM for user management in SAS Viya?
Is the Import section to import all SAS contents? Be it from SAS 9, SAS Viya 3.5, or SAS Viya 4.

Why do the Jobs and Flows plug-in show download option for logs? Is the log not available by default? Do we need to download the log every time and check?
If you are using SAS Studio then the Logs are available in Studio, if you are using VA then the logs are available under logs and flows.
