Good day

I have upgraded the sas software from M6 to M8 and have upgraded the Postgres Server aswell.

The upgrade completed without failure.

Now the issue is , users are not able to use their Accounts and Passwords (Stored in LDAP) to connect to sasmetadata.

Has anyone experienced this issue before ?

Hello there,

I am wondering, did you update the OS as well.

I think we would need to know more...

For now, I can only say that the SAS metadata logs and your OS logs will tell you more of what is going on.

My first thought, assuming you are working with a UNIX/Linux-based OS, is that your pam and sasauth files are overwritten.

When you have upgrades, there are some customizations - and this is one of them - that you need to check and bring back.
