Hi All,
I am sure, SAS does have an audit log when we attempt to access the application. How would I know it is enabled and how can I see the audit log and location as we wanted to see who attempted to connect to sas applications and whether the attempt was successful or not.
Thanks,
SS
Look at the Metadata Server logs (Lev1/SASMeta/MetadataServer/Logs).
Both reply's helped me thanks ,
I am working with viya as well. please can I have the logs location for user logs and server logs as well.
and also how can I check the user metadata activity for sas tools (ex :if user deleted a metadata table, updated a table ,etc in DI). will it be in metadata server log?
Thanks,
SS
Hello,
For Viya, all the logs are located in the /opt/sas/viya/config/var/logs/ directory.
