I was trying to understand the role of SAS Web Server, the SAS Web Application Server and their role in running SAS Stored processes and some questions came up.

1.When I type the link of the Stored process in the browser - where does it go ? Web Server or Web App Server.

2. Which of these two perform authentication.

3.Why to have the two -Web and Web Application Server. Can we not do with one?

Request the community to enlighten on this subject. This will be of help to many of the community members.
