Network Flow 443 on metadata/comput server

Hello,

We have noticed traffic flow of 443 port pointing to compute/metadata (one server) from user subnets. Are we using 443 port on compute and metadata server.

We are using sas 9.2 and we have metadata/compute server on one machine and websphere on other machine.

443 is the HTTPS port. You will find such traffic on any system that has a httpd process active.

It is possible that IBM websphere may be using port 443.
You can use network monitoring tools like wireshark / tcpdump to get more details.
