Enterprise Miner Installation Error: an exception was thrown while sending a packet to the peer

I'm new with SAS and I got 2 problems.

1) I need use SAS Enterprise Miner Workstation 14.1 for my project. I clicked new project and filled the project name and project server directory, but when I click NEXT, it shows "an exception was thrown while sending a packet to the peer" and I can do nothing. 

2) I try to uninstall and re-install again, I followed the document on SAS website named "Uninstall your SAS Software". When I went to Step 6, there should be a Summary page appears. But my overall progress is keep 0% and with nothing come out. And I can't do the next step and can't uninstall SAS.

Can anyone help me to figure these problems out? Thank you!
