We are getting ready to install SAS on Windows and are looking for recommendations for McAfee Antivirus exclusions.  From what I understand, the best practice is to disable the anti-virus software during installation, but are there any specific exclusions recommended once you re-enable the software?

Our environment will be as follows:

  1. 3 Windows 2016 servers hosting compute tier (Workspace, Obj Spawner, etc), Metadata tier (Metadata server), and Mid-Tier (web servers).
  2. Citrix servers hosting client app - Enterprise Guide
  3. End users will have SAS Add-In for Microsoft office on their local workstations.

Thank you!

Hello @webbm,

if yous environment was installed by a SAS Consultant, you should find the exclusion list in your SAS Installation Report.

Thank you.  Environment will not be installed by SAS so we are on our own.  I have these two pages noted.
