The latest version of SAS Visual Analytics – 7.1 – will be available on Oct. 7th. Features within the release run the gamut from admin, data prep, report distribution, and new analytic visualizations. Over the next several days, I’ll post details about the various new features. Let me know what you think about them!

Let’s start with the fact that SAS Visual Analytics 7.1 will support new data sources:

  • Pivotal HD
  • Cloudera Impala
  • SAP HANA

Plus, it will provide fast, parallel data load to the SAS LASR analytic engine from SAP HANA.
