Experienced with many data-processing software. Speaks English and Spanish fluently. Has a solid working knowledge of Polish, Russian and Portuguese. Academic expert in process optimization, cost and evaluation of projects, calculations of mass and energy balances, selection of materials and equipment, sugar technology, and others. Experience in the teaching of postgraduate courses in optimization of static and dynamic systems, drying in fluidized beds and production of synthetic zeolites. For around thirty years of university, academic experience as Titular Professor has been Promoter and Adviser to numerous chemical engineering theses and seven PhD in technical sciences with results published and introduced into the industry. He was Dean for Research & Development at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, at the Oriente University and Technical University J. A. Mella during three years and Head of the Department of Sugar Technology - 10 years. He has been Project Manager in the Pneumatic Conveying and Drying of Bagasse, Obtaining Furfural in Fluidised Beds, Solar Drying of Fish, Topology of a Sugar Factory, Software Development for Mass and Energy Balances in Sugar Cane Factories and Development of Technology for the Production of Synthetic Zeolites. Has been Visiting Professor at Luanda University in Luanda, Angola; Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City; and at the state university UENF Darcy Ribeiro in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
