I have a dataset that contain data related to a particular company in a row, over the period of time, say 20 years. So it has observed values of say 10 variables over period of 20 years. So Like a1-a20 variables for 20 years data and then say b1-b20 variables for 20 years and so on. Like this there are rows related to n companies. I want to transpose in such a way that data related to "a" transpose and keeps under "a" for 20 years.then next variable "b" will have 20 years of data transposed and so on. The company say C1 will get repeated 20 times for 20 years of data. Suggestions? Let me know if you have any questions.

I have this situation: I am running PROC FREQ data=dataset; tables var1-var10/out=x; run; I want to save output of tables of all 10 variables in one single dataset. The step above stores only the last var10 output.freq

The condition was if p1=1 and s1=1, they may take other values for which i wanted 0. This is what I tried unsuccessfully: data temp; array p det_lyrica_p1-det_lyrica_p7; array s det_lyrica_s1-det_lyrica_s7; array x det_lyrica_p8-det_lyrica_p56; z=1; do i=1 to 7; do j=1 to 7; if p =1 and s =1 then x = 1; else x = 0; z+1; end; end; run; But it gave just 1 obs and made all p and s as . or missing and put all x =0. I need the variables x to be created for each obs level value.

This is what i need to do on my dataset: I have list of variables: p1-p9 and s1-s9. I want to create variables x1-x81 (9*9). based on if p1=1 and s1=1 then x1=1; else x1 =0; so on for all p1=1 with s1-s9 and so on for each p1-p9. How to do this in sas. The manual if else takes so much time. I tried to use nested do loop by using 2 loops 1 for p1-p9 and another for s1-s9. but not working . I think array method will work. But not sure how to let the nested loop use array of x1-x81. Suggestions plz? Thanks!

Yes, I need to compare P values of T with and without DUNNETT method. Where do I specify the control option in DUNNETT. in ttest its like DUNNETT('Control'). in LSMEANS, its ADJUST=DUNNETT, but i can't find where to put the control.

LSMEANS doesnt have the LSD option.

I used the MEANS statement. And in the online link of SAS. there is no such option as displaying or getting their p values. Some of links suggested to use OUTSTAT in GLM, but that don't give the P values of comparisons, only overall.

Hi. I am using LSD method in GLM for ttest for 5 comparisons. Then I am using Dunnett option with it. I want to show the difference of P values for simple T test and with Dunnett adjustment. How can I do that. As output only show the significance being 1/0. I want to see the p values as well. Suggestions?

I am trying following but its not working: PROC NPAR1WAY data=sales_mkt DSCF WILCOXON; class product; exact WILCOXON; var sec_pos; run; its throwing error for DSCF option. Any suggestions?

well, i had tried logistic regression. But the p values, are actually the probability of intercept being 0/1 for that particular variable, and not for statistical significance of CHISQ
