SAS-Bowl-Graphic-356x356-Black-text.pngData scientists wouldn't normally or intentionally introduce bias into their models; however, the fact is that in this imperfect world, tendencies are inadvertently introduced into technology. SAS has recognized this as an issue and is taking steps on educating data scientists how to recognize and avoid biases in AI. We'll cover this topic in October's SAS Bowl.

More on SAS Data Ethics Practice

As Reggie Townsend, @RTMAXN , Director of the SAS Data Ethics practice states, "Our vision is a world where data empowers people to thrive. We pursue that vision through trustworthy and responsible innovation." SAS takes the approach that responsible innovation encompasses asking 'should we,' as well as 'could we.' SAS is committed to working with customers, partners and academia to increase the awareness of, and necessity for, technology that is ethical, equitable and sustainable for individuals and societies.

Can you tell we take this seriously? Refer to the resources below to find out more and to gain an advantage during the game (we'll craft multiple questions from these resources).
