i use VA 7.3

i can use maps with 2 letter state code States.

2 questions

1)how do i setup for a drill down to city level?

2) my data source has latitude and longitude values which i use in other mapping applications.  when i go to custom geography. i get a screen that shows possible fields for lat/long.  when i click the drop down for the latitude field, a list of fields is shown but my latitude field is not in the dropdown. the longitude is in the drop down.

any ideas why?

thanks

My first guess would be that your latitude is not numeric, possibly due to the presence of one or more of degree and/or second symbols, :, or N/S.

Since many cities have multiple Zip codes you might want to consider consolidation to a main one if your desire is a report based on City.
