Dear ALL ,

 

Request to help on how to back up data directly from SAS Visual Analytics ..

 

I know how to do back form SAS Management Console .... I wana know can we backup data directly  from SAS Visual Analytics Interface instead of using SAS Management Console.

What data are you talking about? SAS Management Console only does metadata backups. If you talking about SAS data on disk then servers usually have backup tools and processes in place for that (eg Comvault). You don't use SAS for disk backup.

 

If you are referring to SAS LASR in-memory data, then you don't need to back that up as you can re-load from disk.

How can we re load from disk if the table is gone , can u pls explain .

All LASR in-memory data is loaded from disk to start with so just go back to your load tables on disk and re-load them. You should have system backups of your disks so you can restore load tables from backups.
