Hi , does anyone know how i can add a comma format to the procmeans results ?

my code :'

proc means data=a sum;

var x;

run ;

i tried format x comma20. but it doesnt work on the results

You can use the output statement to create a table with the results, then assign a format, and then use proc print or similar to display the results.

You could use the MAXDEC option in the proc means;

proc means data=sashelp.class sum maxdec = 2;

var age;

run ;
