Hello,
Each time before I run SAS codes I would like to clear the work library using following codes:
proc datasets lib=work kill nolist memtype=data;
quit;
I don't want to type these codes each time, so I try to assign these codes to a keystroke or a toolbar shortcut. I googled and followed instructions (such as this one: VCU TS - Creating Keyboard and Toolbar Shortcuts in SAS) ;however it does not seem to work.
Did anyone know how to assign these codes to a keystroke or a toolbar shortcut? Thanks.
Check out the following SAS Global Forum papers, they will illustrate how to do that
- http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings11/099-2011.pdf
- http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings12/151-2012.pdf
Hope it helps,
Ahmed
Thank you very much. It works now.
For those who are interested, the trick is to use gsubmit. In my case, I entered following to the keystroke.
gsubmit " proc datasets lib=work kill nolist memtype=data;quit; "
