how can i import the data from oracle in to EG Directly and by using ODBC.

I think that the only way to get data from Oracle to EG directly is via the ODBC driver approach.

Depending on your platform and operations, your DBA or you will do the setup of the ODBC tables (TNSNAMES file) and configure the ODBC drivers in Windows and then you will just reference the Oracle Schema by a reference name that you see when you do Data --> Open --> ODBC.
