Options for running a Query builder faster

Hi,

I'm running a project in SAS EG with two queries but it hangs when I run it . The dataset is not so large, 200 rows. What can be the problem? is there any option for queries(query builder) that can be used for running faster?

PLEASE POST THE CODE.

You already have posted here quite a lot, so by now you should know that code and log are ESSENTIAL in finding mistakes. If you can't get at the log because of a hang or complete crash, at least post the code.

If the Query Builder window is hanging up, please share more details about the data:

- is it a database table?

- is it a local SAS data set file (as opposed to a library member)?

- is your SAS server a remote machine, and where is it (on local network or far-flung across the country/world)?

In general, the Query Builder should not be slow/unresponsive.  So if you're experiencing this, I'd say there is something wrong...
