There's something that is easy to do with paper in pencil but I do not know how to do it using sas.  If I know the size of my population and my alpha, one or two tailed test, how do I find what my sample size should be?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

You can delve into the world of Proc Power, which may lead you to believe that easy pencil computation was missing something...

But which one or two-tailed test? Which distribution? One, two or more data sets? Paired results?
