Quartz | Level 8

I have 10 questions from a survey. Each question has possible values 1-5.

I would like to create the following subscale averages:

questions 1, 2

questions 3, 4, 5

questions 6, 7, 8, 9

questions 10

So, this means there would be a total of 4 means (mean1, mean2, mean3, mean4).

Does anyone know how to do this with proc sql?

Thank you.
