I am a student using SAS remotely. I think I may have created an infinite loop when writing my code and now SAS won't give me any output for the code I run.b  When I type code nothing shows up in my output and the status bar on any window I have open says DATA STEP running. I've tried solutions>assist>end procedure and that didn't terminate the job. I just want to be able to write code again! How can i fix this?

Two suggestions:

One: try typing ctrl-break a number of times and, if the window appears asking you what you want to do, cancel the submitted code.

Alternatively, enter ctrl-alt-end and, from the window that will appear, cancel the SAS session.
