Number of output in results window

Is there a method or function, etc. to obtain the number of "Results" displayed in results window?

Well,let's call this function “get_num_results_window”.
For example in the figure below

X = get_num_results_window ();
"put x;" shows "0"

For example in the figure below

X = get_num_results_window ();

"put x;" shows "1"
