Hello,
I am a post graduate in biotechnology and naive to computer software world. Now, I want to shift to the technology. Please suggest from where i should do a certification course in SAS and what should i study first (sequential way to start from basics).
Thank you.
The Little SAS Book would be a good place to start. There are several other basic books.
SAS For Dummies is another.
Hi:
And, in addition to Warren's book suggestions, both Programming 1 and Statistics 1 e-learning courses are free of charge for any adult learner. All you have to do is set up a SAS Profile and activate the training classes. To find all the free e-learning classes, go here: https://support.sas.com/edu/elearning.html?ctry=us&productType=library and you will find both Programming 1 and Statistics 1 at the top of the page.

To add to what @WarrenKuhfeld and @Cynthia_sas have said - once you've got the basics under your belt try to follow some of the questions and answers on this forum, see if you can understand them and you'll get to see how things are done in practice as well as in theory.
