Hi guys! I'm very very new to SAS and I have a dumb question. I'm trying to find a path on my MAC fo access data, but it all comes out "ERROR: Physical file does not exist". I'm using SAS university edition on virtualbox. I have read the SAS support

http://support.sas.com/software/products/university-edition/faq/shared_folder_access.htm

but I still don't get it.

here's my panel

and the path I had is 'folders/myfolders/sasuser.v94/stat390/age.dat'

Did I do anything wrong? Thank you!

Hi:
You must ALWAYS preceded the path with a leading slash:
'/folders/myfolders/......';

You only have 'folders/myfolders.....'; without the leading slash.

If you look very carefully at the link you posted, you will see a slash for /folders/myfolders in the path.
