Deciles within a decile

Hi all,

In my data set, I have a variable 'decile' with values 1 through 10 based on a variable 'score'. I need to create another variable 'mini-decile' that divides each decile again into 10 equal parts or deciles based on the score (descending).

Can somebody help me how to write the code?

Try proc rank.

That sounds like percentiles. Use Proc Rank with 100 groups or proc univariate.
