Hi SAS Forecasting Community,

@gsvolba and myself are presenting a live “Ask the Expert” webinar on October 20th, 10 AM – 11 AM ET: An A to Z Overview of Forecasting in SAS®. We’ll cover how you can build time series forecasting models with SAS Viya in different ways; from manual to fully automated. We’ll also demonstrate how to use SAS procedures like PROC ESM, PROC ARIMA or PROC TIMESERIES to prepare your data and produce forecasts. Bring your questions. I’ll host a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar.

You will learn:

  • How to program time series analysis in SAS, what procedures are available and how can they be used.
  • How forecasting can be performed automatically in SAS with no or little coding and be put into production effectively.
  • How to scale your open source algorithms to run in a distributed manner in the cloud.
  • Why time series analysis is more than just specifying a certain model. Data preparation and exploring the time series are important as well.

Reserve your spot for the webinar.

I am sorry.

It's NOT an An A to Z Overview of Forecasting in SAS®.

It's an An A to X Overview of Forecasting in SAS®.

First time series procedure in SAS (alphabetically) = ARIMA

Last time series procedure in SAS (alphabetically) = X13
