Did you miss the Ask the Expert session on Machine Learning Models in SAS Event Stream Processing (ESP) - How to integrate and execute on the Edge? Not to worry, you can catch it on demand at your leisure. I’ve attached the slides as well.
Watch the Webinar
This session looks at the needs and capabilities of streaming analytics and how to incorporate machine learning models.
Learn how models are managed in a single repository, how to integrate these models into streaming analytics, and how to deploy these streaming analytics on the edge with automation and repeatability.
Here are some highlighted questions from the Q&A segment held at the end of the session for ease of reference.
What are the cybersecurity concerns with this AI/ML solution?
SAS ESP supports encryption from edge to Cloud. Configuring this is covered in the SAS ESP documentation found on support.sas.com
What are the licensing cost if any on the AL/ML solution?
SAS ESP is priced on a consumption-based fee schedule using # of events processed annually. Other SAS solutions have separate pricing plans typically based on number of cores.
What Encryption Algorithms are used in terms of strong hash Algorithms?
ESP Server supports using TLS and SSL encryption for:
C, Java, and Python clients connecting to an ESP Server
adapters connecting to an ESP Server
connections that are created by a file-and-socket connector or adapter that acts as a socket client or server.
The ESP Studio and ESM web application clients support TLS as well for connections to ESP Server.

In the data centers, are they using VMs for this Cloud Solutions?
SAS ESP can be deployed to VM's for runtime execution.
