Have you been tweeting about SAS Global Forum 2019 recently, e.g. using hashtag #SASGF? If so - you represent one of the nodes in this network graph created using SAS Visual Analytics. An edge is generated if you were mentioned in a tweet or have retweeted someone else tweet. No surprise that @SASSoftware' own Twitter account represents the center of this graph - given it's frequent reference via mentioning. It accounts for about 16% of all collected tweets.

(Update: March, 2019)

I decided to re-run the analysis and generate another snapshot of the poster using latest account activities over the last month. Not surprisingly SAS' own Twitter account is still at the center of the graph (expected given the hashtags used to filter the tweets) - but interesting to see how many more people start tweeting about #SASGF in general as we get closer to the event. I also added a key-actor analysis at the bottom right corner to visualize key players in the network. You can read more about social network analysis in this blog. The final update included the addition of Twitter profile pictures. I added pictures for the top 100 identities given their network centrality values.

If you want to explore the poster in more detail - I decided to create another Ultra 4K resolution picture (4773x3072px, 12MB, PNG). Yes, you will need a high-resolution monitor.

For reference - below is the initial version of the poster covering tweets until February, 2019:

But guess who tweeted most with almost 600 tweets since September 2018? Yes, @MichelleHomes , it's you 🙂

See you April, 28th in Dallas, TX, USA!

Brilliant visualisation and network analysis... sure has evolved over the years!

Don't you love statistics Smiley Tongue

I DO!!! 🤓😎

I decided to run another analysis of the network graph using latest account activities. Also, added some profile pictures for the top 100 people in the network (based on network metrics). Just so @MichelleHomes knows exactly where she is placed in the graph 😉 ! Keep the Tweets coming. Enjoy!

Funny man @FalkoSchulz! I was looking for my pic in the quadrant with the others and then saw the outlier.... Smiley Embarassed

The last 2 weeks I’ve been tweeting at the SAS Nordic Forums #SASNF. That would also be an interesting analysis to do. https://twitter.com/search?q=%23SASNF&src=recent_search_click&f=live
