Hi @RPoumarede, Thanks for your sharing. In the section "Multi Tenancy improvements (different LDAP for each tenant)". Does that mean we can let the users in different forest to log in Viya platform after appropriate setting? If so, are there any documents can show us how to config it step by step? In our situation, we are considering to upgrade our Viya 3.2 to 3.4 and we would like to allow our users in different AD forest (which means two different AD Server) to access the Viya. Is that possible to config it in the post-deployment if we can use multi-tenancy configuration in Viya 3.4?

Hi SAS Experts, Our company used for sas viya 3.2 for one year. Recently, the browser prompt the notification that self-signed certification is expired. Does anyone know how to renew the expired self-signed certification? Many Thanks! Roy

Hi SAS experts, We all know that we can use LDAP / AD authentication in Viya . it's really convenient and easy to manage the permission for our users. For us , we have multiple AD in our company. Is there any possible to set up the multiple AD for authentication on Viya? Many Thanks! Roy

Hi @alexal, Here is the result. I found the scope status showed "global" on the table which was promoted in sas environment manager. I'm curious about why table called "VA_SAMPLE_TELCO03" (which was loaded in LASR Server) didn't show in the scope status result and I want to promote that table thru SAS code. The reason I want to using sas code to promote LASR table is that I would like to scheduled it thru crontab job on viya server to keep the data up-to-date. Thanks! Roy.

Hi @alexal, Thanks for the reply. I have tried the code you mentioned before , but still failed to promote the table to global level. Below is the issue I'm trying to solve. This is the CAS library connect to remote LASR server. I want to promote LASR table :VA_SAMPLE_TELCO03(I can promote other LASR table using SAS environment manager on browser, but i want to promote it using sas code. ) There is the error message when I using promote action. cas mySession2 sessopts=(caslib=casuser timeout=1800 locale="en_US"); cas; caslib _all_ assign; proc cas; table.promote / caslib="valasr2" drop=TRUE name="VA_SAMPLE_TELCO03" target="lasr_test2" targetLib="public" ; run; NOTE: Active Session now MYSESSION2. Hi Experts, After reading this blog, I have successfully promote my data from the disk or other Database . I have configured the connection between Viya and remote LASR server on SAS Environment Manager and It works fine if I promote the LASR table using SAS Environment Manager . Now i'm trying to promote LASR table to CAS library with sas code and schedule it to update data daily. Does anyone know how to do promote remote LASR table to CAS using sas code? Many Thanks, Roy

Hi All, Thanks for all the reply.In this month,we have tried lots of way to resolve the issue and unfortunately the issue is still the same. The report perform very slow on IE/Firefox/Chrome, IE would get the memory leak message and others would crash then sas service would be unavailable. I know the size of dataset and the report design would affect the performance. In this case,there are 20 tabs and 5 dataset is used in the report. The biggest dataset on CAS is 7GB. After many testing,We found that the size of dataset is the key point.Other report with smaller data size(less than 1GB) would perform smoothly(but still slower than VA). Now we are trying to increase the number of cas cache disk,hoping that increase the I/O would help.We will get back to the community once we get the new update. Any suggestion and ideas would give us the big help! Many Thanks, Roy

Hi SASKiwi, Thanks for your reply. Yes, We have tried Chrome and Firefox, It still perform slowly. We foind that there are many tabs in our customer reports, not sure if its the root cause of the issue.It's really wired that the same report in va7.1 perform smoothly. Is there any configuration we can do for the better performance? Thnaks! Roy

Hi Experts, Recently I'm helping my customer to migrate report from VA7.1 to Viya. Although the report and data was migrated successfully, but some tabs in the report would stuck for at least 5 minutes when click to open . We all know that VA on Viya using html5 ,and hoping it will get better performance than va7.x. Does anyone have the experience for tuning va on viya performance? Many Thanks! Roy

Hi SAS Experts, Recently, My customer told me its a little annoying to start /stop LASR server manually on the web broswer and asked me if there any possible to use sas code control the LASR server. Fortunately, I found the article about this topic ( link: http://www.sas.com/offices/europe/uk/support/sas-hints-tips/lasr-server-va.html) and it worked! There is a thing confused me . When I run the SAS code which mentioned in the article and using BASE SAS 9.4 on the Server which installed VA and it worked successfully. But when I run the same SAS code on my pc(client) . It didn't work. This is the code I run on my pc (client) using BASE SAS 9.4: libname VALIBLA SASIOLA startserver host="myserver" port=10010 signer="myserver:80/SASLASRAuthorization"; There is the error message: I also tried to run the same code on my SAS EG (client), It worked. Is there any code i have to add to login (like EG connect to VA SERVER login setting?) ? If yes, what code/option shoud I add? Any idea will be appreticated. Many Thanks, Roy
