About
Following studies in statistics, mathematics and programming, I began my career as a technical consultant at SAS® Institute Australia, and it’s been an interest in SAS software ever since.
I’ve worked across a range of organizations and, while I’ve always loved the technical side of things, as a ‘people person’ I’ve also discovered a passion and aptitude for training, business development and management.
Founding Metacoda gave me the opportunity to bring all my skills together from the hands-on technical, through to business and customer management, as well as creativity and innovation.

Thanks @Quentin for mentioning Metacoda Security Plug-ins.
@ronnynch if you'd like to try out the software you can sign up for a free 30 day trial at https://www.metacoda.com/en/evaluation/
The installation is local to where your SAS Management Console is installed and takes less than 5 minutes. You can then explore SAS metadata security from numerous perspectives, as well as produce reports. The plug-ins help SAS admins maintain the security integrity of their SAS platform.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Kind Regards,
Michelle

Did the first-place winners get announced at SAS Innovate?
I didn't see any winner announcements in the General Sessions.

Always LOVE a Falko infographic and what fascinating data to explore. I really love the Main Reason for Travel box & whisker plot comparison and drilling into the trends over time. (Wasn't sure why 2023 was in the title?) The visual highlights the reasons for travel uptake since 2021 and shows the skewness in 2020 when borders shut.
The overall choice of visuals and your design & layout are great. Thanks for delving into this data analysis. A fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon exploring the interactive offline report to learn more. 😊

I LOVE seeing the banner images you post for each SAS Bowl @joeFurbee... I have a bit of OCD with this one - there isn't a semicolon after the run...
Anyone else with me on this? 😂🤓

Thanks @MarkusWeick for staying up late for the webinar. Feel free to watch the recording though. It was hard to pick a time that works across all time zones and be suitable for us to present coherently. It will be 6am our local time in Brisbane. We’re looking forward to sharing with the community. See you there!

Hi SAS Administrators,
@PaulHomes and I are presenting at a live “Ask the Expert” webinar on October 24th, 4 PM – 5 PM ET entitled How Do You Review Activity In SAS® Management Console? We'll be presenting and demoing Metacoda Activity Reviewer Plug-in, new in Metacoda Plug-ins 6.2. We'll explain and show how the Activity Reviewer Plug-in helps with reviewing log data for specific metadata objects and specific metadata identities. Bring your questions as there will be a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
You will learn:
How to perform log data queries quickly without leaving SAS Management Console.
How to see very recent log entries.
How it integrates with other Metacoda Plug-ins to examine and view:
User activity for a selected user.
Activity for a selected object.
The underlying technology, architecture and prerequisites.
Reserve your spot for the webinar.
Want more tips? Be sure to subscribe to the Ask the Expert board to receive follow up Q&A, slides and recordings from this and other SAS Ask the Expert webinars.
Can't join the live event? You can view this and other Ask the Expert sessions on-demand here.
We look forward to seeing you there! 👋🐨
Kind Regards,
Michelle

I certainly missed being there too @Quentin. Being a judge for the Customer Recognition Awards was great. There were around 70 submissions to review and all so interesting. I was keen to see what the end result was. Yes hopefully we will see each other next year at SAS Innovate. All the best for the upcoming BASUG event!
