Hi

If you have an existing data set, is there a way to create a new data set from this one that only contains records from the original that are duplicates based on a specific variable?

Hi..

Why Not??

You can use Dupout in Proc Sort to get duplicates into a separate dataset with out disturbing original dataset.. .
