Hello After receiving feedback here I found that the only way I can import excel file to SAS is by FILE-IMPOER DATA Now I am asking about export to excel. When I open the FILE - EXPORT DATA I get the following window (attached). Is there any way to save the output of RESULTS in Library WORK or SASUSER, because I tried with no success Thanks for any help

Hello I try to check nonlinearity in the regression by using square in one of my variable (fownff) My code is: proc glm data=sasuser.sasfile060716; class firmno sector year industry; model roa = fownff fownff**2 salesGro RDAssets LTassets LNAssetsindustry year /solution; run; But the log I got is: ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, ;, (, *, -, /, @, _CHARACTER_, _CHAR_, _NUMERIC_, |. ERROR 200-322: The symbol is not recognized and will be ignored. As far as I know, this is the way to check linearity. I appreciate your help to explain what is my mistake Thanks a lot!

Hello I have probably a silly question but I want to be sure that I understand this point. I want to compare between businesses ownership in England to businesses ownership in USA. I beleive that USA have high performance than in England and the business ownership contributes that it will happen. My code is simple: proc glm data=sasuser.sasfile1; class firmno sector year industry; model roa = usaown salesGro RDAssets LTassets LNAssets cAPAXASS DIVASSETS **bleep**efound BETA industry year /solution; run; where ROA is the profit/assets and usaown is the business ownership % of the firms in USA (in my data). The data is 2600 firm-year observations. My question is - Is this code OK or should I relate to England ownership too? Thanks a lot!

Hello I created a correlation matrix via PROC CORR and found that the variable FF, which is dummy variable, has no values with 3 other variables (which are continous variables). I attached here the result as I got Any clue why this is happened? Thanks a lot!

ERROR: Variable IDtotalFNF in list does not match type prescribed for this list. ERROR: Variable ODtotalFNF in list does not match type prescribed for this list. These variables are numeric but have a lot of missing values because each of this variable describe only one class out of 3. What I have to do in order to get the proc means Thanks a lot!

Hello I am asking for help which I want to explain in the following example: I have data of 100 firms for the period 2000-2008. the data includes profit and No of directors for every firm. I want to estimate a model that takes the profit data of years 2001,2003,2005,2007 directors data of the years 2000,2002,2004,2006. A request to allocate 28439.9M bytes of memory can not be honored. My sas code is as follows: proc mixed data=sasfile06 method=ml covtest nobound; class Old; model ROA=INDUSTRY YEAR/s intercept; random OLD RD MARKETING LOANS/type=un s; repeated / type=un subject=ID; run; I probably did a mistake but could not find any clue via interent or forum as a solution.
