I am using SAS Enterprise Miner to fit a logistic regression model. after the Impute node, I am using the transform Variables node with the following instructions: Interval Inputs= Best Class Inputs= Dummy Indicators. After this step, all of my continuous numeric variables are getting transformed into nominal variables being divided into 4 bins for different range of values of the variable. How do I avoid this optimal binning of Numeric variables, so that they remain numeric and do not get transformed to Nominal, whereas for Class variables, dummies are created.   Thank you. ... I am trying to build a logistic regression model in SAS Enterprise Miner. For that after the impute step I am Transforming the variables then running a code to check VIF of all variables. But every time just after transformation of variables, all of my interval(numerical) variables are being changed to Nominal and then while running the VIF code I am getting the error as 'variable x in the list does not match type as mentioned in the list' for all the interval variables and hence unable to get VIF results. I have a dataset with student names and their scores on different subject: student a1 a2 a3 a4 jim 500 0 675 342 mary 345 45 876 510 mark 234 345 100 200 suzy 768 230 56 768 If the minimum score for any subject lies within 0-100(both values included) then I want to a flag for all those rows for that subject. If the minimum is higher than 100 then I want a flag only for the row with the minimum value.
