Heard that SAS/Access to Hadoop only work on 9.4M7. I have 9.4M3. So I need to work around to read the data with out changing the data\formats

I am using ODBC connection to read from external DB and writing to Excel templates. have 15 fields. Most of them are string fields, two fields are double and one field is timestamp. libname HD odbc dsn='HD_V'; data Hadoop_table; set HD.RPM ; run; How can I keep the original format for the three non-string fields? especially the timestamp field where SAS is rounding.

I am reading from one database and writing to another database so I cannot change a single digit or format in my conversion.

Just realized some of my values are converting in a wrong format when I used put(temp1,Best30.) Actual value: 2022-06-07 16:02:59.170093000 output value: 1973779822.69097 so used the following, still not returning the correct values.. put(temp1, datetime16.) How can i read Actual value completely with out changing the format? Thank you

I have a percent field that I need to convert and keep all the decimal points. Following code is converting my value from 0.9976452119 to 1 when I use PUT function. for some fields when I convert from numeric to char it is returning blank values. Proc sql; create table test as select pid, put(percent_s,30.) as percent_char; from test; quit; Any suggestions? Thank you

I am using Proc export to write to three sheets in an single workbook. In the first sheet( cell A1) I just have to write text "Product ver: 3.1" with out any titles or columns so the SQL data base can read my excel books with all the 3 pages. Is there a simple way to do this? When I export all the three sheet are populating with data except the first sheet where it is writing as follows.. How can I avoid the column name "txt" and only product version. txt Product Ver: 3.1 Thank you

I want to group by PID, no other rules\filters to select the values. 3 records will have different test results( mutually exclusive) that I want to combine into one row. Some times equip_id changes so I want to capture all the 3 equip_id every time to show on what machine these tests were run.

I have a dataset with 3 rows per id and would like to combine them into one row. Concatenate the equip_id and Parent_EvntID, vnt_name? How can I combine them? Select nid, date_p, accession from table1 where accession in(select distinct accession from table2). I also want to pull pid field along with accession field from table2. What is the best way? Thank you

Dear all, Thank you for all your responses. Unfortunately I've least control of the excel template. It has two sheets. First sheet has instructions and second sheet has locked headers, it was built and shared by other department. My role is to process the data and dump the final results to this excel template to easily upload into a normalized database. Currently I am processing the data , ordering the fields and exporting the data to excel and then copy paste this data to the actual template. I will have about 500 such spreadsheets that I have to process. Just trying to establish the workflows to eliminate the transcript error while copy pasting from one excel to another .

Row 2 or Row 3 is not the issue here. I want to write to an excel template that have locked headers. One file might have 5 rows and another file might have 100 rows starting from row2 column 1. And I want to save this file each time after updating the rows with a different name.
