SAS Studio
It’s all about the flows! In the November update, we are excited to introduce flows in SAS Studio, one of the most requested features by SAS Studio users in SAS Viya. This update makes it easier to move assets from SAS 9 applications into SAS Viya. In December, we introduced SAS Studio Analyst, which includes new capabilities such as data quality functions, an extended flow designer, branch rows, an export step, and the ability to convert SAS file into flows.

SAS Visual Analytics
You’ve asked and we’ve listened. We’ve released several exciting new features to make SAS Visual Analytics even easier. We launched a smart Report Review feature that offers suggestions and checks for accessibility issues, new share and search options, and an export to Excel capability. In addition, natural language explanation now supports geo data.

SAS Conversation Designer
Say what?! SAS Conversation Designer is a NEW capability that is included with SAS Visual Analytics that enables users to create and configure custom natural language chatbots through a low code visual interface. SAS Conversation Designer is included with SAS Visual Analytics for chat-enabled analytics – allowing the user to access reports, metrics, and visualizations, as well as incorporate advanced analytics and AI models into your chat experience.

SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning
There are several exciting new features to SAS Model Studio that increase flexibility and interpretability, including a new GAM node; huge performance improvements in setting properties; the ability to download code from results and a new flexible way of specifying which python environment you want to use in the open source code node. From a programming perspective, there’s a new action for sequence rule mining, new option in auto-tuning, among others. More details.

SAS Visual Text Analytics
We are making it easier to analyze XML data with new ability to refer to a specific tag or XML fields within category rules for more accurate models. We also release a new option to obtain model results in a single line of output to help embed results of categorization, sentiment analysis, and entity extraction models in other applications with minimal post processing, enhancements.

SAS Model Manager
We have several exciting new features for SAS Model Manager that focus on open model deployment, custom model governance and guided experiences – making the experience even easier and more flexible for users. Updates include a new Project Wizard; support for R model integration for deployment using R2Py / PyMAS in CAS and MAS and ability to create Git Publishing Destinations, among others.
