yabwon, I am making progress (thank you very much) but have a few questions. I have never worked with macro's before (shocking, I know). Is there a way to use my format dataset and annotation datsets with the figure produced? For example I'd like to label the group variable in orders that might not always be alphanumeric (hence format dataset), and I'd like to include statistical model output on the figure (test of fixed effects etc.), hence the annotate dataset. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Hello, I am working with SGPanel to produce graphics of soil health metrics associated with different agricultural management. I've been using box plots but would love to work with density plots as a colleageu of mine has done using R (see attached figure). Is it possible to add shading and mean reference lines with sgplanel? I am comfortable with using annotation data sets to add labels but figure there must be a straightforward way to shade and add reflines for the means... Any help would be much appreciated! Dan, Thank you very much. I am getting close but have run into an issue with superscript minus. You mention in your blog post the need to have a font style with a full suite of unicode characters. I assume that my currently problem is that I am not using an appropriate font. Can you help me understand how I can change that? Hello, I am trying to produce some figures for a manuscript I am working on and am trying to figure out a better way to do superscripting with axis or even category labels. Right now I create labels and then am using an annotate dataset to position superscripts. Its cumbersome and I assume there is a more streamlined way. Would love some help! I am working to create a figure for a manuscript using sgscatter. I've gotten it almost where I want it but would like to have the panels in the figure (by row or column) share a common set of axis labels rather than having unique axis labels for each panel. I am wondering if sgscatter is the right procedure of if I need to try something different. Appreciate any suggestions. I'm working on a graph in which I would like to place letters indicating significant difference above standard error bars. To do this I need to set the maximum y axis value above the error bar height to accommodate the letters (e.g. rowaxis max=10) but I cannot figure out to do this so that I can specify two different yaxis maximums in the two paneled graph. Below is the code I am using. I've seen a few posts along these lines but have yet to figure this out. I've don'e an analysis on differences between cropping systems and just want to graph the data (mean, stderr) and indicated significantly different systems using LSD-like categories. I'm using the limitstat=sterr to get my error bars and have seen that I can use datalabel= to get labels but it appears to be one or the other. Is there an easy way to get both of these in the graph, without having the data labels appear below the bars (see attached fig).
