My understanding security is at the report level or at the underlying data level such as row level security. For an example on row level security, see my blog post Conditional Grants in SAS Visual Analytics Security at the report section level (tabs) is a great idea and I wonder if there are any plans for this in a future release of SAS Visual Analytics... Hi Peter, FYI, there was a similar discussion about this at You can get the base report URL by going to File -> Email and potentially you could achieve what you are trying to do with a user-specific geographic boundary with Conditional Grants as I wrote about at Conditional Grants in SAS Visual Analytics I would suggest setting up groups though and have the conditional grant for the group. FYI, I raised a feature request via SAS Technical Support in September 2013 to create a date hierarchy for financial years. What I requested... Tech Support Issue #7611085989 Ability to create a Date Hierarchy for financial years? The new feature of being able to "Create a Date Hierarchy" in SAS Visual Analytics Explorer is fantastic. Are their plans in the future to enhance the creation step so that a financial year hierarchy can be created rather than calendar year? If not, can you please add it as a feature request please. Also it would be nice to have this feature, 'Create Date Hierarchy' in Visual Analytics Designer. As a "financial year" can vary from country to country I also suggest to have it configurable as part of the installation/configuration where a financial year setting can be made or perhaps within the VA interfaces general settings. The APM package is designed to work with a SAS BI environment. I'm not sure what it would do if SAS BI is not licensed and used. There may be errors from the underlying code as the expected BI log files are missing. I'm not sure as I haven't used it in a non-BI environment. There are more details about the package with FAQs at SAS 9.4 Audit, Performance and Measurement package where you can also see the 3 types of reporting provided. You may be able to disable the BI scheduled scripts and only run the SAS Workspace related scripts.
