I have the following file that is consists of only 3 records. I made a sas dataset form this file. The problem is that chg_eff_tmstmp in the oracle is datetime20. Since the variable between the two are not compatible no insert is taking place.

I did what you said and it did not work. Eliminating ti1, tit2, tie3, and tie4 the title won't show.

I have a bunch of sas program in one folder and a bunch in another folder, for example folder a located at /saswork/imatemp/a and folder b at /saswork0/output/b. I want a proc compare that compares the contents of a and b and tell me what is in a that is not in b and visa versa. Thank you for all the help that you can provide.

SAS_M has 3000 rows and SAS_F has 270 rows. ZIPCITYDISTANCE function works fine for a pair of zips. I need some sort of looping that can do the followings, ZIPCITYDISTANCE(22180,33180) then ZIPCITYDISTANCE(22180,33181) then ZIPCITYDISTANCE(22180,33182) then ZIPCITYDISTANCE(22180,33183) then ZIPCITYDISTANCE(22181,33180) then ZIPCITYDISTANCE(22181,33181) and soforth. ............................ As said the ZIPCITYDISTANCE function works fine when you only have a pair of zips. In my case I need the distance between first zip from SAS_M to every row of zip in the SAS_F dataset and then the second zip from the SAS_M to every zip rows of SAS_F dataset and soforth. May be I am not explaining the question correctly. I demo an example hoping it can shed some lights. I have no problem converting the two spread sheets into SAS. My issue is that I have multiple rows of long and lat in the from data set and multiple long and lat in the to dataset. long and lat from from dataset long and lat from the to dataset (200,210) (190,210) (400,310) (300,216) (401,432) (200,202) (501,301) . . . . (100.300) Now I want the distance between (200,210) and (190,210) then between (200,210) and (300,216) then between (200,210) and (200,202) then between (400,310) and (190,210) and so forth.
