I have tried below sybtaxes (status: 1=stroke, 0=no stroke) proc lifetest data = want plot= survival (nocensor failure ); time time*status(0); strata group ; run; proc phreg data=want; class group (ref='1'); model time*status(0)= group/ rl ; run; I just cannot get Hazard rate (I don't get hazard ratio) and 95% CI for four levels of group. The output shoulb like this table below. group N stroke Hazard rate 95%CI 1 2 3 4 Is it possible SAS 9.4 can give results like above? THanks, XD

Is it possible to use my data to created same kind of reference graph? Thanks in advance.

Dear all, here is my data set: A B C 1 3 120 1 6 110 1 9 140 2 3 110 2 6 105 3 3 118 4 3 160 4 6 170 4 9 180 4 12 110 A is ID, B is month, C is systolic blood pressure. I want to average blood pressure for each ID. Is there a simple way? Thanks, Xinjian

Hi Reeza, Thanks for your quick response. I used univariate cox regression (proc phreg) to select variables (if p<0.25). I got 9 variables. Then I run proc phreg with different model selection methods to find final model if p<0.05. So what is the best way to select final COX model? Thanks, Xinjian

Dear All, I used PROC PHREG to do Cox proportional hazards regression. I got 5 variables in the model with back ward elimination. I got 3 variables of the model when I use forward or stepwise model selection methods. Is it possible with different variables in the final model because using different model selection methods? Dear All, I am doing COX analysis, here is my syntax: proc phreg data=a; class HR; model time*status(0)=sex HR age HTN / rl; run; Sex , HR, and HTN are binary variables, age is a continuous variable. the output of Analysis of Maximum Likelihood Estimates showed below: Parameter DF Hazard 95% Hazard Ratio Confidence Ratio Limits HR low 1 16.143 5.8 79.678 age 1 0.753 0.643 0.882 sex 1 0.099 0.015 0.637 HTN 1 5100 0 . Why HTN has this kind of 95% hazard ratio confidence limits: 0, . ? is this related to small number of no HTN in HR low group? below is a 2X2 table: NO HTN HTN HRLOW 1 17 HRhigh 4 51 How can I solve this problem? Thanks for your help.
