SUGA webinar: Moving from SAS®9 to SAS®Viya: A Guide to Viya Infrastructure and Configuration
Wednesday, February 10, 2021
https://www.sas.com/en_us/events/users-groups/20q4/moving-from-sas9-to-sas-viya.html
SAS 9 processing is largely serial, with very few multithreaded job steps. Its concurrent job workload demand and system management is very different from the highly parallel Viya workload environment. The scale-out operations of Viya are supported by a broad layer of infrastructure, security, messaging and control servers – all with interacting microservices. This presentation shows how Viya works “under the hood” and what resources, infrastructure and configuration make it run smoothly and with high performance. Don’t wait, register now!
