More on PROC HTTP
In today's world, information systems and environments do not stand on their own. The must communicate with other systems and environments. This is no different for SAS. This communication is performed using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). In SAS code, you can use PROC HTTP to make API calls to SAS Viya or to outside systems.
