Agenda SAS and R and SAS - Barry DeCicco, Michigan State University SAS and R both have considerable flexibility to access each other's capabilities. This allows SAS users to stay in SAS, but to access R when needed. R, in turn, can access SAS (and many other languages), allowing R users to access SAS as needed. This presentation will explain and demonstrate how to run SAS jobs which access R data sets and commands, and then how to run R jobs which access SAS data sets and commands. The code used will be made available. We are always looking for speakers for future meetings - please contact us if you are interested in presenting!
Watch for announcements of later webinars on the MSUG website! We are actively recruiting speakers to keep this series going. We are also considering the possibility of offering one or more half-day seminars this fall, and welcome suggestions for topics and/or instructors.
The Western Users of SAS® Software (WUSS) is a non-profit organization that exists to support local SAS® software users groups within the western region.
While we won’t be returning to our normal in-person conference format for 2021, there will be many opportunities to be a part of the WUSS community this year. We are planning a variety of virtual content and networking events for later in the year, so please check back here often for more information. In addition, WUSS is sponsoring a series of online training classes hosted by industry experts throughout the remainder of 2021 and into next year.
