Fluorite | Level 6

Hello altogether,

in our data we do have recurrent events (e.g. diagnosis of a special disease) per patient at different time points.

Our question is if it is possible to calulate life tables using proc lifetest with option method=LT in this case.

For example: one patient has 3 events in 3 different time intervals Interval_1, Interval_2 and Interval_3. Anther patient has 2 events in time intervall Interval_3 and Interval_4.

Is it possible to count the events of the first patient in all 3 time intervalls 1, 2 and 3?

For both patients that would mean: 1 event in Interval_1, Interval_2 and Interval_4 and 2 events in Interval_3.

Many thanks,

sasstats

What is ANOVA?

ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
