This is very desirable. The alternative I use is to convert the macro to an include file, which is a lot of trouble.

Currently the line number reported in NOTEs, ERRORs and WARNING messages  relating to a macro  is the log line where the macro is invoked. Could we show generated MPRINT statements inthe log in a style similar to the code generated by CALL EXECUTE() and the  SOURCE2 option?

Then the number of these generated statements could be reported in these log messages (ideally, as well as the line number of the macro invocation).
