We recently upgraded from enterprise guide version 4.2 to 5.1. There is one very useful feature in version 4.2 that seems to have been removed in version 5.1. In version 5.1, I can’t seem to find a way to have multiple tabs open simultaneously, such as the project designer, various program/code nodes, one way frequency outputs or dataset outputs. This was possible in version 4.2 and was extremely useful as it allowed us to quickly flick between various output tabs. Whenever a new program is run, the results of the previous program are automatically exited. In my opinion, the lack of multiple tabbing in e-guide 5.1 will lead to deterioration in productivity. Has anyone experienced similar issues and is there a way to make version 5.1 more efficient?
