You can stop users from starting jobs by inactivating queues. The job will be submitted, but will not be scheduled until you activate the queues.

If you want the submission to fail rather then pend, close the queue instead of inactivating it. Later you can open the queue.

While you cannot kill all jobs in one command in SAS Management Console, you can from the command line by using the "bjobs -u all 0" command if you are an LSF Administrator.

thanks very much for the responses.   Closing the job queue to prevent users from running jobs on the Grid is perfect!   I didn't think of that. Smiley Sad
