I've created reports in designer with cell suppression. There is a capability (called Export Data), turned on by default, that allows users to export detailed data while viewing a report. This feature bypasses my suppression, allowing a user to export the underlying table. I would like the ability to disable the export of detailed data, while allowing the export of (aggregated) data. Currently, capabilities of this type are "all-or-nothing".

Notice in my screenshot that certain cells within the table are suppressed. The user is able to bypass this suppression by exporting detailed data.

Thanks for your idea! We added the ability to export aggregated data but disallow export of detailed data in SAS Visual Analytics 8.2. See SAS Viya admin doc: First, the How-to Rules Page and then for more on rules, check out Access to functionality

Additionally, native support for data suppression has been added that would make your scenario much easier. See doc: Create derived items, Data suppression
