A report includes several tabs. Each is developed separately as there are iterations, versions, corrections.

It'd be very useful that when a tab is ready, it can be immediately added to an existing report rather than having to recreate it from scratch in that report.

Thank you for your idea. In VA 8.4 (coming later this year), we're working on adding the ability to reuse objects.

For future releases, we're considering reuse of pages.

Importing a page/tab is a function available as of SAS Visual Analytics 2020.1.1 (Dec. 2020). See related documentation:

Import a Page from Another Report

Related, you can save a copy of a page of the report as of version 2020.1.3 (Feb. 2021). Here's documentation for that functionality:

Create a Custom Page Template

Nice!! Thank you again @AnnaBrown !

Is that different from the procedure shown by @TSBruce ?

Sure thing @ChrisNZ !

Just checked with the team. Yes, it's different. @TSBruce's answer was based on SAS Visual Analytics 7.3 that supported import of both reports and pages.
