I suggest to add the '#BYVALn' feature to the name option in PROC GPLOT, in the same way as one can write '#BYVALn' in the titles.
As it is now, when using a by-statement in PROC GPLOT the names of the plots in the graph catalog is named with the specified name suffixed with a number.
If instead the byvalue was used in the name, then it would make the use of PROC GREPLAY easier since one then can avoid some cumbersome bookkeeping of which number is what graph.
What I suggest would make this program possible:
proc gplot data=test;
Proc gplot is old tech. As far as I am aware it is only to be supported in the future not enhanced. Move to sgplot, or Graph Template Language.
