To Whom It May Concern:
It is quite easy to generate Unicode Symbols such as the less than or equal to sign (≤) and superscipts, and subscripts, when the text strings are rendered by a TITLE, FOOTNOTE, ENTRY, ANNOTATION or LEGENDLABEL statement. I understand from Sanjay, that when text strings are rendered by the previous methods that the strings are rendered using Java and that is why the Unicode Symbols are created.
I think it would be a good idea if all Unicode Symbols could also be generated from Variable labels, Variable values, and from Formats. This would make producing Unicode Symbols so much easier.
Also it would be good if the PRINTER format could generate more of Unicode Symbols too because certain superscripts can be created with HEX and outputted in PRINTER format, but not all superscripts can be created and I don't believe any subscripts can be created either.
