Can it be made permanent ? cause user id and password are valid for the current session only. They are not stored in memory, not in metadata.

If credentials are required to view the data (typically, third-party data), then you must store the individual's credentials in metadata, or add the user to a group that has a login with stored credentials that can access this data source.

How to add individual's credentials in metadata?
In SAS Management Console, open the properties for each user, click the Accounts tab, and enter the credentials (ID and password).
